If you have a website even a simple ecommerce website, you always want to make sure that you drive as much traffic to it as possible. But, you just do not want to drive traffic, per se, but you also want to increase your conversions as well.
Today, I am going to be giving out some tips for you to drive more traffic to your website- all without actually spending money.
Make a Google My Business Listing
There are a lot of Android users out there and they always make use of different Google services. If they want to find a specific platform, they would go to Google for help.
As a business entity, you should enlist and create an account on Google My Business page. What you have to do is to complete all of the forms that are required of you as a complete profile tends to get 7x more visits than ones that are incomplete.
Make sure that all of the information that a potential prospect needs to know about your business is included in your page. And oh, that includes the link to your website as well.
Get Listed in Other Online Directories
The Yellow pages are a thing of the past, but this doesn’t mean that there aren’t any online directories anymore- there actually is. Yelp is one of the best online directories out there so you may want to establish an account there so that you will get enlisted.
Post in Social Media
You should always create a social media page for your business because if you don’t, you’re truly missing out on free marketing.
Although the algorithms of such platforms have changed since their inception, it is still a great way for you to promote your venture nonetheless.
In your business page, aside from the complete information that your customers need to know, you also want to post shareable content that is related to your business.
Not only that but you should also create accounts on multiple social platforms to help broaden your reach.
Make Clever Use of Landing Pages
Landing pages are just pages where your customer “lands” when they visit your website. Make clever use of these by showcasing some promotions and offers that you can give your potential customers. Make time-limited offers to create a sense of urgency and see your conversion rates increase.
Use Long-Tail Keywords
Part of search engine optimization is the use of specific keywords that will help you rank higher in the search engine results pages.
Conventional wisdom would tell you to use short-tail keywords, but I highly recommend that you use long-tail keywords instead.
Not only does this look natural, but it also feels natural as a search term as well.
Look at and Learn from Your Analytics
Look at different analytics tools to help you see how your website is performing. If there are areas that you feel are lacking in performance, do things that will help fix that.
